Protospace is a new community-led initiative for Milton Keynes to bring individuals, businesses and organisations together to connect, collaborate and share knowledge.
The project is a collaboration between the teams behind Made in MK, MK Geek Night and Pooleyville with support from Milton Keynes Council as part of its COVID-19 Economic Recovery Plan.
Through a series of curated events and online resources, Protospace will champion local digital innovation, connect the community, and support the exploration of new ideas, the development of new skills, and opportunities for new collaborations.
As part of this initiative we're also working to provide a dedicated physical space to host the local tech community in person and provide a nurturing environment to work, collaborate and share knowledge.
Comprising talks, interviews, workshops, hackathons, pitches and networking, the programme will be delivered both online and in-person (when we are able to do so). We'll host a diverse range of industry leaders and creators, from near and far, exploring their ideas, experiences and work that have had, or hope to have, a positive impact on our lives.
The project will also be supporting local events run by the community through promotion, partnerships and sponsorship. If you have an event you would like to seek support for or include on our calendar, please get in touch.
